Volunteers measure dissolved oxygen in Lake Bonney
Pierce Conservation District expanded its volunteer water quality program in 2000 to include lake monitoring as a service provided to partner jurisdictions. The goals of the lake program are to encourage lake stewardship and provide water quality data that can be used for management decisions.
Pierce Conservation District also provides technical assistance to lake homeowner groups upon request. We offer training and use of a basic lake kit to those who want to learn more about their lakes.
