Whether you live urban or rural, we are a resource for you. District staff are available to meet with landowners to discuss options for improving and enhancing their property through water quality projects.
The District offers both technical assistance and some cost sharing options for property owners all across Pierce County. If you are a landowner interested in water quality improvement action on your property, contact us with any questions or to find out what services and programs may help you meet your goals.
Rain gardens take polluted water from a large area and direct it into a small planted depression that naturally cleans the water as it slowly soaks into the ground.
Excess pavement is not only an eyesore, it is also the single largest contributor of pollution to our waters in our region. By removing unnecessary pavement and creating green space we are beautifying our urban areas and cleaning water.
