South Prairie Creek Preserve - Work Party

Come Join PCD in restoring South Prairie Creek Preserve! We will be planting trees and shrubs alongside the creek in order to provide shade, mitigate effects of flooding, and enhance salmon habitat! Exact address will be shared upon sign up.
What will volunteers be doing at the event?
We plan on planting a variety of bare-root plants, as well as caring for existing plantings. These plantings will be reforesting South Prairie, and provide critical habitat for wildlife.
For your safety and comfort please bring:
- Clothing that can get dirty
- Long pants and sleeves
- Sturdy shoes (closed toed shoes required, no sandals or flats)
- Rain gear and warm layers (the event will happen rain or shine)
- Full water bottle!
