South Prairie Creek Preserve Work Party

Join us at South Prairie Creek Preserve for a planting party! We will be planting trees and shrubs alongside the creek to provide shade, mitigate effects of flooding, and enhance salmon habitat. Get outdoors and get your hands dirty to help improve critical salmon habitat!
What to expect:
o Expect uneven terrain, wet and/or muddy ground.
o Parking is limited. Please carpool with people in your party, if possible.
What to bring: Dress for success!
o Long pants, long sleeves, warm outdoor clothing
o Outdoor shoes/boots
Please bring your own:
o Full water bottle
o Work gloves [some lending gloves will be available, if needed]
o If you would like, you can bring your own shovel or pitchfork [tools will be available]
Please let us know if you are no longer able to attend this event, so we can admit someone from the wait list.
