We are excited to announce that Sarah Lemon has joined the PCD team as a Farm Resource Specialist! She will be focusing on the Puyallup Watershed.  

Sarah joins the team after several years of full-time livestock farming, most recently at Carnation Farms in Carnation, WA.  

Sarah brings expertise in soil science, small-scale livestock production, agricultural policy, and poultry processing.  Her background includes a BS in geology from Colgate, an MS in geophysics from the University of Wisconsin, and a recent Graduate Certificate in Food Policy and Sustainability Leadership from Arizona State University.  

Outside the office Sarah can be found working sheep for fun, dancing, and getting to know her new Pacific Northwest home.
