Bailey joined Pierce Conservation District in 2023. She was born in Pierce County but spent most of her childhood in Northern California and returned to the wonderful Pacific Northwest while serving in the Navy. Bailey earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington Tacoma, where she studied Environmental Sustainability and the ways people interact with their environment and each other. She is passionate about serving her community and helping people discover the joys of volunteering and teamwork. When not at work, Bailey enjoys spending quality time with her partner and animals, playing in the garden, and, you guessed it, volunteering.
