Jack joined Pierce Conservation District in 2025. They graduated with a Bachelor of Biology degree from University of Tennessee where they majored in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Before joining Pierce Conservation District as an AmeriCorps member, they worked as a forester for public utilities. They are passionate about community outreach, environmental education, and finding ways in which those with disabilities can be included in conservation efforts. They moved to Tacoma with their partner, Katie, and their two cats, Paprika and Jiji. They have many hobbies including climbing, backpacking, canoeing, listening to music, painting, making/collecting stained glass, cooking for Katie, and finding accessible trails for their sister, Annabelle.
