The District has a hay probe available for check-out. Having your hay analyzed is the only way to determine the actual nutrient content of hay in order to balance your livestock's rations. A hay analysis is also a great way for hay growers to market their product.

Rental Information

There is no rental fee associated with the hay probe, but a $50 refundable deposit is required. To reserve the hay probe or for more information, contact your area’s farm program specialist.
